The Village Florist is an existing company in my are with an unsuccessful website. It was dark, cluttered and had a confusing interface. My brief was to re-design the website. This was my first try at web design and I even tried coding some parts of the website. I created my prototype in InVision.

Here we can see some of my design process for this website. I created user personas, and conducted in depth market research, but these design sprint activities are my favourite. Generating a lot of different ideas in a short amount of time will show you all the ways that a problem can be solved, it is then up to you to decide which is most beneficial for your users.

Above are some examples of how my designs develop over time. The first two images show wire framing and the visual development of this. However, once you start adding visual design to your prototype you can often see things that don’t work, thus adjustments must be made. The third image is an example of how the final visual design tends to develop further than your initial wireframes.
