BBC Redesign
This was a mini project during my time at Sungkyunkwan University to redesign the BBC app.
This is the BBC app at the time of my redesign, there are several clear UX errors that need to be fixed. The first is a lack of navigational bar at the bottom, the second is the largely cluttered interface.
This app contains a very large amount of information and therefore you cannot display it all at once, this makes good navigation all the more important.
Here we can see my proposed changes for two sections of the application.
My first change was to create a bottom navigation bar that negates the need for a burger menu. I then transformed the top navigational bar into something much clearer that and easier to use.
I tested my design changes and all users felt that it created a much nicer interface that was easier to navigate and personalise for their needs.
