Hi! My name is Charley and I am
a graphic designer.

My connection with art and design began almost 10 years ago with fine art, because of this background, my work has strong links to illustration. My artistic skill is something I pride myself on and develop whenever I can.

Since then I have attended three universities across the globe and studied courses from many more. Because of this varied educational background I have learnt to approach graphic design from several different perspectives, be this looking at the larger conceptual element of the work or getting into the micro details through the lens of a typographer.

During my Bachelors degree I fell in love with UX design and found the research and development process to be truly inspiring. I now apply this kind of contextual research to all my designs meaning that every piece of work I produce is created differently, for a specific audience or client.

I am currently undertaking a Masters degree at Bath Spa University. This has been an in depth year of research into graphic agitation as a tool of progression for political movements. As you are reading this I am likely at my desk working on my new feminist magazine “Rabid”.
